Our sessions
Funded childcare is available during term time only. We are open from 8.30am to 4.30pm and follow the three terms of the academic year, in line with OCC school holiday dates, subject to inset dates. We can arrange extra hours and extra holidays sessions if there is enough demand.
We pride ourselves on providing a warm, nurturing environment where every child is known and valued. With a maximum staff-to-child ratio of 1:3, each child benefits from individual attention, a personalised approach to learning, and the rich opportunities offered through our Montessori-inspired teaching.
Our team consists of a full time primary teacher in charge of the pre-schoolers, a professional music teacher every morning and two teachers specialised in looking after the little ones.
We currently have a small number of places available. To ensure fairness, places are offered on a first come, first served basis, with priority given to brothers and sisters of children already attending our setting. We encourage families to contact us early to avoid disappointment.
Deposit
To secure a place with us, we require a £240 deposit, which will be deducted from your first invoice.
There is no registration fee for children accessing their funded hours. There is an £80 registration fee for private places.
Funding
We are pleased to offer 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare during term time for eligible children and ask for a minimum of two days per week attendance. We offer full-day sessions only, helping children to establish a consistent routine and make the most of their time at nursery.
Children accessing the 15-hour funded entitlement attend two full days per week, while children accessing the 30-hour funded entitlement attend four full days per week.
We are a Montessori nursery specialised in teaching languages. We offer Spanish, French, Portuguese, German all taught by mother tongue teachers. We also speak Greek and Mandarin. Government funding is not intended to cover the costs of additional hours, music and languages.
Optional extras
Families can choose from a range of optional extras, including our Breakfast Club 7.30-8.30am, additional childcare sessions, and our Multilingual Language Programme. After school sessions extra sessions 3.30pm–4.30pm for school aged children and 4pm – 4:30pm for the funded children. These services are available at an additional cost and can be tailored to suit your family's individual needs. We also offer extra paid-for childcare sessions during school holidays, helping to provide continuity of care when funded hours are not available. All costs are shown in the table below.
Parents are asked to provide nappies, sun cream and wipes to avoid allergic reactions. Children bring their own packed lunches. We regularly organise optional lunches that we cook together with the children. We provide a morning snack.
We issue your termly invoice four weeks in advance of each term. We understand that families have different budgeting preferences, so a monthly payment option can be arranged. Our fees are reviewed annually during the Spring Term.

Any optional extra sessions are charged termly (over 12.7 weeks). The reason we charge termly for our under-two’s language sessions is that children in this age group benefit most from ongoing exposure to language. The sessions are designed to immerse children in language through sounds, songs, rhymes and repetition, which support their early communication and language development.
